I-CARD At A Glance
The Institution for Culture And Rural Development (I-CARD) empowers tribal communities to discover their identities and achieve recognition, based on the Mising model it has tested.
So it is that I-CARD has entered into every aspect of the Mising world, leaving nothing to chance.
With the catchword proMising action, adding Life to life, I-CARD (Institution for Culture And Rural Development) has been bringing sustainable development, since 1999, to Misings, through the insights and solutions fitting into their own cultural worldview. In 1998 I-CARD was born to transform Northeast India through innovative strategies. ‘Mising the target’ or not, the experiment developed by I-CARD, is a sure-fire.
The proMising action guarantees promising results for any social entrepreneur working with tribal communities. Today, I-CARD has grown into a mighty tree covering over thirty sectors for the integral development of the target group.
