They follow the five rules of I-CARD and live by its principles, taking it forward at the grassroot level.
They are led by the values and ideas of Jesus, Don Bosco, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Sankaradeva and spiritual leaders.
The I-CARD experiments, especially through its leadership training – Karsang Takar, have proved that Mising youth are capable, intelligent and worth investing into. The dormant hopes in their eyes can be rekindled if there is a kind hearted mentor.

I-CARD Rationale
We work with youth because we firmly believe in the value of the person; in the possibility of a different and better world. We believe in the power of Young People, that they can bring rapid and urgent changes in society, and add a tinge of elegance to an otherwise insipid world.
I-CARD, a part of the international Don Bosco Society, follows Don Bosco’s ideals.
I-CARD stands by the peace-loving race which is often relegated to the backstage in social and political arenas. We affirm to their credit that Mising youth have not taken to arms for their just demands. We are worried whether this peace journey last long if the suppression endures.
